Digital Painting
Digital Painting A: June 26-30 | 9am-12pm

Procreate is available in the app store for $12.99

We are offering both an AM and a PM option for this camp because it’s so versatile and kids can use what they learn here in so many of the other camps for a more rich experience. Session A will be different from session B in case any artists would like to take both courses. Course A will concentrate on landscape style artwork and Course B will concentrate on different life forms.
Each day M-Th I will walk artists through a digital painting, step by step, and then we will print out their artwork for them to take home. Each piece will teach them to use the different tools available in Procreate so that as they become more familiar with the app and tools, they’ll be able to create their own drawings and paintings using what they’ve learned. On Friday, they’ll create their own original painting, and will choose their favorite artwork from the week to have printed on a mug that we will make together in class.
These classes pair especially well with our Crazy for Cricut, Sublimation Station, Shirt Shack & Screen printing camps and workshops!
Metal Stamping & Jewelry Making
Dates: June 26-30 | 1-4pm
Ages: 7-13
Cost: $100
Materials: All materials will be provided!
* If you’d like your maker to take home a metal stamping starter kit so they can continue to stamp jewelry after camp, I can buy them one for an additional $35 and they can use that for camp. It will include a stamping hammer, metal bench block and a set of alphabet letter stamps. Otherwise, I’m happy to let them use my supplies for the week for no charge.
This camp is a hands-on craft course that will teach your young maker skills to make handmade jewelry using metal stamping! This is a co-ed class so jewelry options will include both masculine and feminine styles. For example when we make a necklace, they’ll be able to choose from more feminine metal shapes or a metal dog tag necklace.
Monday: We’ll learn about the tools you need to stamp metal and which types of metals are best for stamping. Then we’ll get hands-on and practice some stamping on different metals, learning about lettering & spacing.
Tuesday: We’ll practice our new skills & make a metal cuff bracelet & ring
Wednesday: We’ll learn about design stamps and make a metal stamped bookmark & key chain
Thursday: We’ll make a custom stamped metal neckalce & custom leather bracelet
Friday: Mini Makers will choose their last projects for Friday. I’ll encourage them to make something they can give away as a special gift, but ultimately it’ll be their choice what they do with their handmade goodies!
Leatherworking
Dates: July 10-14 | 9am – 12pm
Ages: 7-13
Cost: $100
Materials: All materials will be provided!
During this craft camp, artists will learn all about working with leather. We will go over different types of leathers and what types of projects each is good for. We’ll practice prepping and working with a few different types of leather in different types of projects. This camp is co-ed and will have projects that both boys and girls will love making and using.
Monday: We’ll learn lots about leather and design a leather cuff bracelet
Tuesday: We will practice using leather stamps and make a leather keychain
Wenesday: We will learn about how to stitch leather by hand and make a small coin pouch.
Thursday: We will learn how to dye and stain leather and start our belt project!
Friday: We will learn how to add rivets or studs to leather and finish our custom, handmade belt!
Crazy for Cricut
Dates: July 17-21 | 9am – 12pm
Ages: 7-13

This week will be all about Cricut goodness! We’ll do a different cricut project every day using different materials throughout the week. If your artist has taken the digital painting class, that will come in handy this week but it’s not essential to have taken it.
Monday: We’ll learn the basics in cricut design space and make a pop up card
Tuesday: We will continue to work in design space and make a removeable wall graphic & stickers
Wenesday: We will continue to work in design space and make a custom tumbler
Thursday: We will continue to work in design space and make a custom HTV trucker hat
Friday: We will continue to work in design space and make a custom HTV tshirt!
Shirt Shack
Dates: July 17-21 | 1pm – 4pm
Ages: 7-13
Cost: $100
Materials: All materials wil be provided!
We’ll be busting out a new tshirt every day of this fun camp week! Each day we’ll learn a new technique and students will walk away with 5 new shirts that they’ve designed and made themselves!
Monday: We’ll kick things off with a classic-Tie Dye! Artists will be able to choose their colors and method and will take home a one of a kind tee
Tuesday: We’ll work with negative space and bleach to knock out a design on an epic bleached tee
Wenesday: Each student will design and then sublimate a tee with their own design
Thursday: We’ll work with heat transfer vinyl to create thursday’s tee
Friday: We’ll end the week with student’s choce!
Sublimation Station
Dates: July 31 – August 4 | 9am – 12pm

This camp will focus on teaching students how to use the process of sublimation to bring their drawings and designs to life! Every day they’ll create a new design and sublimate it onto something. By the end of the week they’ll have a collection of handmade goodies to take home, including a keychain, mouse pad, tee, zipper pouch and mug.
Crafts with Gom
Dates: July 31 – August 4 | 1 – 4pm

Gom is my mom and Jett’s grandma who just happens to be the most creative person ever on the planet!! I’ve asked her to help me do this camp and she’s going to come up with 5 fun and amazing crafts and we will run this one together. I don’t know what the crafts are yet, but trust me, they will be fabulous, and this will prob be the most fun week of Camp Create!
